The Police Department’s opening for a Department Information Technology Manager in the Systems Development Division of the Bureau of Technical Services. This position is a senior level technical manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day Police Department Application services. This is a hands-on position whose daily activities include management of an Applications Sustainment Support team and maintaining major department wide applications which support critical line personnel. The team currently consisting of 1 Supervising Applications Analyst, 2 Information Systems Analysts, 2 Senior Systems Applications Analysts, and 2 Analyst. The Systems Development Division supports a main campus and 20 field offices, ensuring availability and reliability of critical systems is paramount. This position reports directly to the Systems Development Division Manager. Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills is required.
