Session One – Cloud Security Architecture & AWS Security Governance: Lessons from a Regulated Fintech Environment, Srinivasu Bongu
Drawing from hands-on experience implementing CI/CD security guardrails and CIS Benchmark controls in a regulated fintech environment, this session covers practical strategies for building a scalable AWS security governance program. Topics include designing a cloud security architecture framework across identity, network, and data protection; embedding preventive security controls directly into CI/CD pipelines; and balancing security rigor with development velocity. The session shares real lessons learned, what worked, what didn’t, and what would be done differently for security practitioners looking to mature their own cloud security governance programs.
