Information Services Application Manager $128,606 – $172,348

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this advanced journey level, single position classification serves as a member of the Park District’s management team, with responsibility for managing and developing staff, providing expert advice, consultation and recommendations related to the development and implementation of the goals, objectives, and priorities of the Park District’s information systems, and for assisting with the overall management and implementation of the Park District’s information and applications systems. This classification is distinguished from the higher-level classification of Chief Information Officer in that the latter has overall responsibility for directing and administering the activities of the Information Services Department and determining the information services needs and strategy for the Park District. It is further distinguished from the lower-level class of Business Analyst in that the latter is primarily responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Park District’s systems and applications whereas the former is responsible for managing subordinate staff, complex projects, and leading the implementation and integration of those systems and applications.
